First off, bigger version is downloadable. At first I wanted to do a pic of Annie (Lightfoot's well known character from his Pulse comic) dressed as the character's favorite (at least in the original series) comic character. Then I thought it might be fun to make a cover in the style of those classic pulp magazines. I kinda imagined if Jungle Girl was a comic is would be an adventure one, with maybe a lil romance, but I thought a fantasy/occult kinda cover would be pulpyer.

That's cool, people rarely draw Annie dressed as Jungle Girl. Although I guess I haven't in years either, but I've been meaning to at some point (maybe it'll be more common once introduce the idea into the restarted comic).

Jungle Girl is still in the remake. Although in 102 pages so far, Annie hasn't been seen imitating her, either in a dream or as a costume yet. I'd suspect that the Jungle Girl comics would be adventure, romance and fantasy/occult. She probably has some supernatural powers, and might have to resolve things like restless spirits.

I probably need to come up with an official costume. In the original comic, I often just designed whatever I wanted at the time. At some point in the remake, I plan to have an entire chapter where it's Annie dreaming she is Jungle Girl, and that will allow for some insight into the character maybe.

I think it turned out well. Definitely has that retro feel to it.
